The makers of our books

Our books are collective products. We cherish our creative collaborations with writers, photographers, graphic designers, printers, and binders. This is a non-exhaustive list of the people with whom we work.


Gay Gassmann

is an American art historian, art consultant and writer based in Europe. She is a contributing editor to Architectural Digest, Vogue Arabia, and AD China and has authored books on contemporary art and artists.

Hans Ibelings

is a Dutch architectural historian in Montreal. He is the author of a number of books on modern and contemporary architecture and teaches at the University of Toronto.

Wouter Vanstiphout

is the co-founder of Crimson Historians & Urbanists, one of the most original minds in the world of Dutch architectural culture, and one of its sharpest writers.

Mimi Zeiger

is a Los Angeles-based critic and curator. She was co-curator of the U.S. Pavilion for the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale and is visiting faculty at SCI-Arc.


Maria Bodil

is an Amsterdam based creative duo, formed by Lieve Maria Eek and Marthe Bodil Vos. They create imagery, films, and conceptual campaigns.

Sebastian van Damme

is a Rotterdam-based photographer. He is educated as an architect, a background that helps him to understand and capture the beauty of the built and unbuilt environments.

Bas Princen

is an artist and photographer in Rotterdam and Zurich. He studied industrial design and architecture.

Mark Seelen

the founder of Seelen+ in Hamburg, and a visual director for film and photography.

Graphic designers

Lisa Brustolin

is a designer in Rotterdam, working on a variety of two and three-dimensional projects: from logos to books and furniture.



is an Amsterdam-based printing company that serves the most respected individuals and companies within the graphic industry in the Netherlands and abroad. With great love, our team creates beautiful and creative printed matter.


Van Mierlo

is a bookbinder in Nijmegen. The company specializes in finishing complex books in all kinds of designs and formats. Almost everything is done in-house, including for example, the foil print for Episodes: Powerhouse Company.
